The breath before a sentence is suspense
there goes my peace (and mind).
If I listen to the wind,
will it lead me home,
or will it leave me to you?
Your back is always facing my direction
my eyes to the sun.
Suspended in the air is calm.
The breath before an “I love you”
walks with her head held high
confidence before it is stripped away.
Allow me the space to wilt in piece.
Paranoia, parasites, nibbling on each.
Peace of mind: will you take a piece of mine?
